Introspection
Introspection is a collection born out of questions about how we present ourselves to the world. Beginning with the prompt “pink to surface,” introspection looks inward at what we put on the surface and what we keep just below. Is the mask we wear to the world representative of who we are? What slips through the cracks of what want to show and what actually does? How does it all come together, or apart?
Introspection was created in a course focused on delving into the process of creating a collection inspired by the prompt. Iteration, concept development, and garment creation process show this development.
